At first glance, Nightpelt is an intimidating cat with his large, almost bulky form carried on four large paws that carry long, needle-sharp claws. His medium length coat is thick and though sleek, has a shaggy look to it, is colored the darkest of blacks that hold a blue shine in certain lighting that resembles the night sky. Being a warrior doesn't come without any kind of scar; which Nightpelt has plenty of. Though most are hidden underneath his coat, the most noticeable and recognizing scar lays on his face; resting under his left eye a large grayed scar trails over his muzzle at an angle to rest against his lip on the right.
personality
Nightpelt is an outwardly calm tom in the face of all; though around his clan mates, he allows his sense of humor and caring nature to show through. And Nightpelt is caring; making sure the clan is well taken care of and protected and that every member is cared no matter how much they may dislike or even hate him.
Taking time out his day, between all his duties, Nightpelt likes to spend time around the kits – sometimes teaching them skills that the queens tend to disapprove of at the kits ages. Other times, when there isn’t much to do, he’ll help warriors with their apprentices and even take over ones teaching if they are unable to do so.
Hidden by his calm, easy-going exterior, the dark tom has some hidden anger issues that have gotten him into trouble as a kit and sometimes rears its ugly head; causing him to argue or even get into a fight with another clan member – which has happened before.

Nightpelt was born to two loners with four other brothers. With so many to care for, their father was gone often to hunt and patrol the area to keep them safe. Any time his father was around, they would argue and other times he would get into scuffles with his oldest brother.
Around his third moon, Nightpelt became separated from his family and became even more lost when he attempted to find them. Instead, only a moon later, was he found by a clan cat. Compared to what Nightpelt expected, he was offered to become a clan cat. Not letting the idea fester too much he accepted and was taken to Nightclan. There he was allowed in by the clan's leader and put made a warriors apprentice.
Nightpelt's apprenticeship and kithood was full of anger that caused him to get into scuffles with other apprentices and warriors, and him running off and not showing for training. All the issues caused him to become a nightmare to his mentor who had to break up the fights and search him out. Even with missing many of his training sessions, Nightpelt was still capable of doing excellent work and in a short time was made into a warrior.
After becoming a warrior, Nightpelt decided to change during his vigilance. So he started to hide his anger, becoming calm and collected. And he started to follow the rules of the clan, rules that he had sometimes gone against.
