Hawkpaw is a rather handsome tom. With leopard like or Bengal markings that are coated in a darker mud color, he stands out from the other apprentices. He is about an average build cat, looking slender but having strong haunches and muscles that are already beginning to tone in at the age of 6 moons. While most of his body is varying shades of a muddy brown, his chin has a big white spot followed by a pale pink nose. His left front paw also has a white tip where his claws start to appear. His eyes are a deep amber, with black outline that makes them pop out.
personality
With his small frame with it's toned muscle, Hawkpaw is a very swift and agile mover. His body seems to cover ground quicker than most of the stockier cats. With this trait, he tends to be rather daring or dauntless. He loves to push the limits and see how far he can go before someone stands up to him and attempts to make him pay the consequences for his actions. However, since he didn't have this kind of discipline when he was a kit, he doesn't really respect authority or listen to anything they have to tell him. Simply, he is willing to walk all over everyone without understanding that he is breaking the warrior code or not upholding his place in the clan.
Aside from everything, Hawkpaw is extremely confident in himself. He knows he's fast and smart, and is willing to rub it all over everyone's faces. He doesn't take well to criticism, and in most cases, he jumps to the defensive with violence. He is quick to lash out at others and even faster to want to start a fight with the other clans. He believes that Nightclan is the strongest of all the clans, and that the other two don't even need to share the same boundaries.
Even though he is a bit of a jerk, when someone manages to get into his heart and earn his trust, as well as respect, he is a super loyal and protective cat. He won't let anyone hurt the ones he loves, and is more than willing to protect them with his life. And finally, Hawkpaw has very divided loyalties. He doesn't seem to understand the way the warrior code works and is bouncing all over the place with who he chooses to be loyal to. Because of this, his thought process and the cats he chooses to follow is very unpredictable.

Hawk-kit was the kind of kit that was always bound to find trouble. He was the only kit from his mother, as well as the only kit in the nursery. This led him to be a very independent kit, and one that was always ready to get under everyone else's paws. His mother was young when she had him, Hawk being her first litter. Because of this, she was impatient with his actions and also let him wander to do whatever he wanted to. He never really learned respect from her, and often found himself listening to the elders or sassing the warriors. He thought he was a big tough guy, even though he was just a cute, little kit.
Finally, he was apprenticed, and he was as confident as ever. Nothing seems to bring him down and he was always ready to group up with the younger warriors to cause a little chaos.
